If you are getting a sense of Deja Vu with the name, HunieCam Studio that is probably because this is a follow up/side game to the awesome HuniePop game that came out a few years back. This time around they are taking on the world of management games as you find out if you have what it takes to run a company that is all about cam girls!

HuniePop is a unique sim experience for PC, Mac and Linux. It’s a gameplay first approach that’s part dating sim, part puzzle game, with light RPG elements, a visual novel style of presentation, an abrasive western writing style and plenty of “plot”. 8 gorgeous girls each with their own personalities, preferences and style.

So Much Charm!

Like HuniePop that came before it, HunieCam Studio is a game that just oozes charm. There are many different girls in the game (18 I think) and you may recognize them from the last game. The idea here is that you need to make in fat stacks of that internet money and to do this you need to keep your cam girls happy, healthy, and motivated.

There is not much in the way of “story” here, but each girl does have her own lines of dialogue and voice acting so it does have a lot of charm and personality to it all.

So Cute, So Naughty!

I love the style of the games that this studio does and rather than just copy the exact same style that HuniePop had, HunieCam Studio is cuter and more stylized and I really like it. It has the look of a tycoon game, but way more personality. I love how cute and how individual the girls are. Each one has her own style and that is something that really does come through the screen as you play.This is not a hardcore XXX game that is made to get you off. It is more made to make you smile and laugh and that is cool. They certainly pull it off and the presentation alone was more than enough to keep me invested in the game.

Making Internet Cam Girl Money Is Hard

The way the game works is on a 21-day cycle. You have 21 days to make as much money as you can and then you are judged at the end of those 21 days. HunieCam Studio is a game that has far more going on than you would think. Getting a bunch of girls to take their clothes off on cam to make money is just the tip of the iceberg. You need to keep your girls fit, happy, and full of alcohol, drugs, or cigarettes depending on what their vice is. I found it best to have just a couple of girls at the beginning.

As you make money, you can purchase new sex toys, outfits and so on that will hopefully get you more fans and make you more money in the process. If you need some of that quick cash, you can “hire out” one of your girls at a seedy hotel for some quick cash, but you better watch out as they can get an STD! The whole game has a risk and reward thing and it is a lot of fun. The 21-day thing is the only drawback, to be honest with you, you can continue on after there, but there is no real point to it.

I think that HunieCam Studio has just as much charm as HuniePop does. It is a game that is certainly going to make you laugh, but do not let the cute and naught graphics fool you.

This is one very challenging tycoon-style game that requires you to keep on top of a bunch of moving parts. You do this and you can earn yourself some big internet money, just make sure your cam girls are happy and not too overworked!

Today we are taking a look at HuniePop which is a real Kickstarter success story. This is a very intriguing game, not just because of the hot anime girls. It is because this is a game that is a mixture of dating sim, puzzle and it then has some RPG elements sprinkled over the top of it.

Talk To Me Girl!

The dating sim portion of HuniePop on the surface seems way more simplistic than what other games go for, but I feel this works in its favor. You pick a girl that you want to talk to and you will have a series of questions that you can ask her. You can ask her out on a date, be flirty or you can cut straight to the chase and get a little….. let’s just say naughty!The story of the game is quite fun. You are a person who is just hopeless with the ladies and a magical love fairy called Kyu decides to help you out! I found this to be a lot of fun and she does come in handy when you are trying to impress the eight ladies that the game has to offer.

This Is Very Puzzling

What I like about HuniePop is that it is more than just a dating sim/visual novel style game. It is far more interacting than most. It also has a match-three puzzle game in here too. This is way more addictive than you would think. You can use date gifts, special moves and so on to help you with this and this is where the RPG elements come into play. It would have been so easy for them to tack on a basic puzzle game here, but they went all out and in all honesty, it is one of the more fun match three style games that I have played over the years.

So Much To See And Do

I think that HuniePop is stacked (not just in the chest department) with content. There are hidden girls for you to find and a ton of items that you can get to try and make the ladies like you. You can give them gifts, drink food and accessories to try and win their favor. Also, there is a day and night cycle along with various locations in the game. You may think that this is just purely cosmetic, but it actually can have an effect on the gameplay. For example, if you are in the right place, you can give her alcohol to make the conversation a little different.Of course, a game like this lets you customize the girls and there are a ton of different outfits and hairstyles that you can use if that is your thing. I actually liked how easy they made the customization aspect of the game. There are also these high quality and sexy photos that you can collect as you play the game. While you may start out just to see the hot girls, it is actually quite addictive trying to get all of these.

HuniePop is one of the better games in this genre I have had the pleasure to play. While the story is fun, it is way more interacting than most other dating sims that I have come across over the years. I think it is fun, cheeky and it has a ton of things for you to buy and collect. It is also far more addictive than you would think. If you do not like how barebones most dating sims are in the gameplay department, HuniePop is well worth checking out.
